2010… HERE I COME! || Blacksburg Virginia Photography

I’m ready for 2010.  I did it.  I’m really really ready.

Well, I know.   2010 actually arrived 39 days ago.   I mean, i could be further behind.  Well, not by much, lol….

So, if you are interested in scheduling a session — shoot me an email and we’ll get you on the books!  And for all you planners — i have very limited sessions available during the summer  holidays, so if you want a summer session, book early!  You can contact me by clicking “contact” in the above in the menu, or shoot me an email directly at lara@lbhphotography.net .

And i’d like to give back through my business a bit and try to continue the aid efforts in Haiti.  So for all 2010 Sessions booked through the end of February 2010 (including all those that have booked and paid  to date), i’ll be donating 25% of the session fee to Partners in Health through a local movement called Change for Haiti.   I know we are all doing what we can -  i hope that together we can raise a bit of money to help those so desperately in need…

No pictures with this post -  i have a peek coming soon of a fabulous little man from last week.  I’m not only behind in my scheduling, but my life and work in general with all the school closings!!!

Stay warm everyone!

Happy Birthday Miss A || Blacksburg Family Photography

Holy wow.  This kiddo is gorgeous.  I mean, she started out gorgeous.  See for yourself here.   There’s also an image of she and her daddie in the images scrolling above.  And she’s just days away from turning One — Happy Birthday Miss A!

And if you knew her parents, it wouldn’t surprise you that they have a wonderful beautiful daughter.  Wouldn’t surprise you one little bit.  They all make me smile.  And somehow, we snuck in a session without snow.   Which, i will say, is QUITE an accomplishment this winter!!!

Hope everyone is staying warm!

Snowy Days || Blacksburg Virginia Photography

OOOHHH how i love the snow.  I really really do.  I grew up in the deep south where a light dusting of snow was celebrated.  And  remembered.  So, real snow is super exciting to me.  I love to play in it and build with it (this time around we made a sort of.. igloo fort thingy with a stash of snowballs inside for personal protection).

But, it needs to go away now so the world can start spinning again (translation, so my kids can go back to school!).  Anyway, i took a few portraits of my sweet girls over the weekend that i thought i’d share… gah, i love them.

oh, i love how her eyes are all squinty… like her face is a happy little line drawing in this shot!!!!

hope you all are enjoying the snow too, and now i’ve got to get editing one of the most beautiful little one year olds EVAH!  A peek coming soon…..

Brand New || Blacksburg Family Newborn Photography

A brand new family is such a delicate and beautiful creature…  and i was lucky to meet this family in that state.  All 3 were simply beautiful and perfectly perfect.  I was sincerely moved by their love for their brand new baby girl.  There were moments where they were overcome with love and adoration for their beautiful new family.  Gah.  I have chills thinking about it.  Thank you mom and dad for letting me share time with your sweet baby girl… you all are just wonderful!

have a great thursday everyone!

Sweet Miss E || Salem Virginia Family Photography

You guys know how much i love watching my babies grow — its just magic.  To get to meet a family when its brand new and fragile with a tiny new child… then to get to come back and visit with a confident family and a toddler running around.  It soooooooooooooooo much fun.

And Miss E and her parents are no exception.  Such a lovely little family!  Here are a few pictures from their session, and Miss E just turned 1 — Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!  This was my first official session of 2010.  Really?  Is it 2010 already?  Gah.  Eeek.
