I know its only September, but i am already thinking towards 2009 with my business! I posted last month about my full fall schedule, and that i’ll be starting to book 2009 sometime soon, once i get my policies and products finalized for next year. And i’d love some help from you guys with a couple of things i’ve been thinking about!
First – I’d like to support a local charity each year through my work. I have several in mind, but if you have a favorite charity in the NRV, please tell me about them! Feel free to leave a comment below about your favorite NRV non profit organization, or email me directly!
Second — I’ll be expanding the products i’ll be offering for 2009. If you have thought, “gee, i wish LBH Photography offered house cleaning along with albums” let me know about it! (well, if you saw my ‘domestic abilities’, you probably wouldn’t wish i could clean your house too!). The possibilities are really endless from frames to smaller albums to design assistance, etc… I’d love your input if you have any! And for that matter, i welcome any input you have about my business policies!
And finally, a favorite picture of mine that you may recognize from my website. it was from a session this summer and you may be wondering, “why is she posting this now?” Well, it won a prize in a photography contest (yippie!). I belong to a forum with 800+ other photographers, and i entered a monthly contest where the theme was “In the Moment”. And, much to my excitement — my image won!!!! So i just had to share, because award or not, it is one of my favorite all time pictures!
