Its time for a gift.
You know someone. Someone who’s life is harder than it should be. And someone who’s spirit shines brightly and beautifully despite the challenges they face. Someone who is graceful in their life and with their family, despite the hurdles. I know you know someone like that. I do.
I want to honor a member of our community who shines brightly, despite their struggles, with a gift of $1000 worth of custom photography. The gift will include a family session, a custom made album, an enlargement, and all their images on a DVD. So tell me about that deserving person in your life. Nominate them to receive this gift. And if i select your nominee, i’ll give you a $50 print credit for taking the time to share their story with me.
The rules:
1. You cannot nominate yourself.
2. The nominee must reside in the New River Valley.
3. You must email me their full story, and why you believe they are deserving of this gift. Please include your contact information in your email. And please get me their story by December 28, 2008.
I’ll read through the entries, and maybe even call you to hear more. I’ll announce the recipient of this gift on New Years Day 2009 as i feel like that will be a great way to start the new year. And i cannot take credit for this idea myself — there is a grassroots movement of over 300 photographers across the world who are donating services this season. Just because its right, and it feels good to give.
