When i decided to join the movement to give the gift of photography (see here if you don’t know what i’m referring to), i thought of how great it would feel to do it. A way to give back. What i didn’t think about was the process of choosing one family amongst many amazing families. And, well, it was difficult to say the least. People are amazing. Through unthinkable circumstances, they shine and thrive. And i want to say thank you to each of you who shared stories of those who inspire you. And please know, each of their stories inspired me as well.
The couple i decided to share this gift with are Eric and Shevon. There story is truly phenomenal, but it is their story, not mine to share with you without their input and blessing. But to say they shine in the face of adversity is simply an understatement…
I will be honored to work with their family, and hope the images i can give them will represent the beauty that defines them. And that the images will represent the beauty that inspired Cindy H. and others to tell me their story. Thank you Cindy. Thank you Eric. and Thank you Shevon.
