So… the photographs below are of a friend of mine. An absolutely stunningly beautiful friend of mine and her equally stunning baby girl. Baby L was perfectly happy to spend some time with me, and i was MORE THAN happy to meet her. She has a fantabulous big sister, and Miss L is such a beautiful addition to this family. So i wanted to share a couple of her pictures, and show off how beautiful mama and baby are together…

and now for my funny story, that happened after i left this session… i suppose its more of a Public Service Announcement: Make sure you have done your annual inspection on your car. And i have to preface this with 1) i WHOLE heartedly agree with the need for inspections on cars. anyone who knows me knows i’m a nerd about being responsible and green. 2) i’m FULLY supportive of our police force, especially our police force being ‘green’. but my story is funny….
I left this session, picked up my daughter from Pre-school and was driving downtown Blacksburg. I was behind a good friend of mine, who was dutifully driving his daughter home from preschool. He sort of neglected to notice the pedestrians at the cross walk **tsk tsk** and I stopped to let them go by. It was cold. They were responsibly standing waiting to cross the road in the cold. As they crossed the road…
I hear “‘tap tap tap” on my window.
It’s an officer on a Bicycle, who asks me to pull over at the cross street.
I’ll pause for a moment while you contemplate that i just got pulled over, in my lovely and fast Volvo, by a cop on a bike. After stopping at a cross walk for a couple of pedestrians.
I got a ticket for not having done my inspection (holy camoli — it was DUE in November — i totally deserved the ticket — hadn’t EVEN noticed. ooops.). But there are 2 morals in this story. First, get your inspection done on time. Second, be careful when you stop for pedestrians, lol………..
