I’ve decided to take the plunge into the world of blogging and i think its going to be a lot of fun!  This blog will be a place where i can keep clients up to date on the goings on of the business, announce special offerings, post client sneak peaks of their images, and generally keep in touch.  I’ve followed so many other blogs, that it feels a bit crazy to have my own, but like everything else in our lives – it will find its own rhythm and pace!

So i have to brag for a minute about WHY i decided it was finally time to get a blog… my vacation.   Billy and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this May (geesh, really – 10 YEARS?) and i got him a super-fan-tabulous card.  a realllly special card with realllly special words.  It said JUST the right things.  and um, well, he gave me a trip to AUSTRALIA!!!!  Yeah, i guess i’ll have to give a great 11 year gift, huh?   and i realized that in order to communicate with all my clients about my absence from work, i’d have to send out a lot of emails; and frankly, some people just don’t want an email from me in their Inbox about my vacation!  So, i decided it was time to have an actual forum to communicate about LBH Photography and all the things that affect my business without invading my clients personal spaces!  So, this blog will be THAT forum!

And as for the vacation — it was amazing.  i highly recommend taking a 10 day trip to any exotic place with just your partner.  it was so amazing to relax and generally get re-inspired about life.   and i left all 3 of my children behind… Carly, Stella, and the camera.  i missed them dearly, but with me i took photos of my kids, and an insta-matic camera that did just fine.

And if this is going to be a proper photographer’s blog, i better post some pictures!  Here are a few of my girls over the summer – which, by the way, is officially ending in 8 days.  Really?  C will be starting first grade next WEDNESDAY.  oooohhh, im so ready… and oooohhh SO VERY NOT ready….
