Well. I can say a lot about this lovely young high school senior. She is beautiful. She is smart. She is funny. And, she’s one of those young people in my life that i hope to catch a glimpse of in about 10 years because i cannot WAIT to see who she’ll become… She not only has “IT”, but she gets “IT” too, and she’s got an aaaaaaah-mazing future in front of her. And it was my privilege to be a part of her Today.

And i wanted to share these with you because i LOVE the diversity of shots you can get in Blacksburg/Christiansburg in a matter of 2 hours! Check it out….

Oh… and the star. LOVE these….

I’m a lucky photographer. I’m just sayin….. this lovely girl has it all. Miss A so very smart, soooooo very nice, has *the* sweetest boy who makes her smile (and Morgan, you ROCK and thanks for your help!!!), and well, she absolutely stunning.

I’ll be out of my office until September 28th! See you guys then!

She has got IT.

Yes Ma’am. She does. Beauty. Confidence. Grace. and IT. (I, uh, um, came up a tad short in a few of those categories, myself, lol….).

This session was gift from her family for her Sweet 16th…. and i sure hope she loves these images. I sure do! Just click the images to see a sample slide show from her session, and click the thumbnail to stop on an image!

I think i can i think i can….. || Blacksburg Virginia Senior Portraits

Wow…. its been a week since i’ve been at my blog and I am truly in the “little engine that could” mode. I have LOTS of sessions waiting for my attention. Since I have been on my blog last, I’ve shot MANY sessions and had a trip to NY to shoot with some amazing photographers (that will be in another blog — but it was CRAZY cool!!! Inspiring photographers, beautiful models, make-up artists, flu viruses, canceled flights, rental car rides with strangers, and ROCKING images…).

First things first. That High School Senior shoot i referenced in my last blog. Miss A was so awesome (as was her friend who kept us all laughing. i don’t even WANT do know what she was doing behind me to get Miss A to crack up so much….). But here is a quick peek of a couple of my favs — and i PROMISE your slideshow is the next off my computer. PROMISE!!!!

Oh… and anytime another photographer chooses YOU to take their picture, its an honor. And yes — Miss A is a photographer…. i’d link you to her site but she’s keeping it a big secret from me (HA — look A, i’m calling you out on my blog ). But she’s shot several weddings, etc…. and here’s how you look when you are shooting — SO fabulous. LOVE her hand on the lens!!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait for my “i knew i could i knew i could i knew i could” post… but i think its about 6 weeks out, lol!!!!! I’ll be back at the blog in a day or two!

Gah. You know how sometimes you cannot decide.

I’m there.

I had a super fun session.

I wanted to share a few.

But i’m indecisive. Horridly so.

I wanted to share this shot, just because *I* love it.

But then, i thought… no. Show this shot, because it shows how beautiful Ms. K is….

But then. Well. This might show you better who she is in many moments, lol…..

So. Those are fine. But i still feel indecisive.

So just watch this. And then i don’t have to decide.

You can see them all! And there is music that plays with it (just a warning for all you guys at work who don’t want to get busted goofing off) ….

but it really is more fun WITH the music.
